Answer

Toast offers recycling of all returned, damaged, retired, and legacy hardware. 

 

Note: When recycling Toast equipment, Toast will cover the recycling fees. However, customers are responsible for any shipping costs associated with sending the equipment for recycling.

 

  • Elo V1 and Toast Go® 1 Devices Retired in 2022-2023
    • We encourage all U.S. customers with remaining Elo V1 and Toast Go® 1 devices retired in 2022-2023 to follow these steps. This process applies to these retired devices only. Please complete a brief form on the Toast Hardware Recycling Portal and print your free shipping label to send in your Elo V1 and Toast Go® 1 devices. Toast will cover the costs of zero-landfill recycling and carbon-neutral shipping.
  • All Other Hardware
    • If you would like to return your legacy hardware product(s) to Toast for recycling, paid for by Toast, send it to the address identified on the Toast Hardware Recycling page. You are responsible for shipping the product to the designated recycling site and paying for all shipping and handling costs.
