Toast Payroll: Progressive Discipline Module

Is there a way to track employee behavior and the action taken because of it?

Some restaurants in Toast Payroll have a feature called Progressive Discipline allows managers to keep a record of employee behavior and action(s) taken because of it. Managers will need to select both a behavior and action which are configured by Toast Payroll Customer Care, so this requires a bit of set up before using it. To add an entry to the progressive discipline module:

1. Navigate to an employee's profile > Progressive Discipline and select Add+.
   1. If you do not see Progressive Discipline, this feature is unavailable for your company.
2. Enter the following information:
   1. Date of Incident
   2. Type of Behavior (Customer Care can add to this list)
   3. Behavior Notes
   4. Type of Action (Customer Care can add to this list)
      1. This may be more than one action per behavior
   5. Action Notes
   6. Any Supporting Documents
3. Select Save. Record cannot be deleted, only edited.
