How do I  archive and remove printers in Toast Web?

Answer

Note: Employees need the 6.10 Printer and Cash Drawer Setup permission to perform this task.

 

To archive a printer, follow these steps:

  1. In Toast Web, navigate to Finance > Related > Settings > Printers and Cash Drawers.
  2. Once on the page, locate the printer you would like to remove and select the three dots on the far right of the printer line you are archiving.

Note: With printers and prep stations properly created in Toast Web you can route specific menu items to your prep stations. Make sure that if you archive a printer the prep station it was routed to has been moved over to a new printer.
