Customize Check Numbers on POS

• While using Toast POS, can we customize the check numbers to start at a certain number?
• Can I customize their check numbers on the POS?

No, check numbers can't be customized. They will always start at "1" each day at every one of your restaurant locations.

We know some of you would like to customize these (for example, having different starting numbers for different locations or service types like takeout vs. dine-in), but this isn't possible with our current system.

Note: If you ever see a five-digit check number, that indicates the check was created while your system was in offline mode.
