Question

I am unable to access Payroll, Loyalty, and/or Email Marketing from my Toast Web account. How do I resolve this?

If an individual is unable to access these features in your Toast Web account, it's often due to user permission settings, most likely the permissions at the restaurant group level to allow access to Payroll, Loyalty, and Email Marketing. The most common fix is to verify and enable their required permissions in their profile. Checking this first can often solve the problem quickly.

 

To confirm and set the correct employee permissions, follow these steps:
 

  1. In Toast Web, navigate to Employees > Manage Employees > Employees.
  2. Select the employee's name. If your permissions need to be edited, you'll need someone else to do this for you, most likely the owner who has most/all permissions.
  3. Select the Restaurant Access tab to ensure the individual has the restaurant group (the topmost checkbox) checked.
  4. Now, select Jobs and Permissions.
  5. Select the Permission: Add Group / Restaurant Permissions dropdown field and select the restaurant group (again at the top of the list).
  6. Enable all the permissions for the restaurant group.
  7. Select Save.
