How do I troubleshoot the blank display in a Samsung Tizen?

Answer

If the Samsung Tizen has a blank display, perform the following steps:

 

  1. Check the display power: Ensure the display panel is powered on. Use your Samsung remote to press the Power button. If the screen does not respond, verify that the power cable is securely connected and the outlet is receiving power.
  2. Launch the Custom App: If the screen is powered on but remains blank, press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to the Custom App icon at the bottom of the screen (this icon is located next to App Management and may not have a text name) and press Enter.
  3. Reinstall the app (if necessary):
    1. If the Custom App option is not visible:
      1. Navigate to App Management and press Enter.
      2. Select Install Custom App and press Enter again.
  4. Refresh the content: If the display is still blank, log in to the Engage website and perform a Publish to refresh the connection.
