This error message only occurs on the Review and Submit step when a user is trying to submit a payroll that was archived before posting. This can happen when a user accesses a payroll via a bookmarked or a saved URL, but the payroll was archived since the URL was saved. It can also happen if someone archives a payroll while another user is actively working on posting the same payroll.
To troubleshoot this, simply navigate to Payroll > Past Payrolls. Locate the payroll in question and select the unarchive button (the box with an arrow pointing upward). Then navigate back to Payroll and you can continue to submit this payroll. If it does not appear on your Pay Cycle Dashboard, contact Customer Care via the blue chat dot in the lower-right corner of any Toast Payroll page so we can adjust the check date.
