The Gift Cards Not Set Up At This Location error typically occurs if you do not have the correct gift cards software module added to your Toast account, or if it is added, it is not turned on properly.

To troubleshoot the Gift Cards Not Set Up At This Location error:

1. If you are using Toast’s gift cards, confirm that you have added Toast Gift Cards to your account. If you do not have Toast Gift Cards added, you can do this through Toast Shop. 
2. If you are using a third-party gift card provider, confirm that you have added Toast Partner Connect to your account. If you have not, please contact Customer Care to get assistance getting connected to your integrating partner.

If you do have Toast or third-party gift card software added to your account, you’ll need to enable gift cards in Toast Web and on your terminal. 

In Toast Web:

1. Navigate to Payments > Gift cards > Gift card setup. 
2. Under the Gift Cards section, find the Enable Gift Cards setting and select Yes.

Once you've completed the steps to enable gift cards, next:

1. In Toast Web, navigate to Payments > Payment methods > Payment options.
2. Scroll down to the Gift Card section and ensure that the gift card payment method is active and enabled.
