Get Started With the Butter Integration

Butter Key Features for Fin

    • Operators receive immediate notifications about important events, whether it’s a new review, breaking news that could affect the restaurant, or a new sales record.
    • Butter messaging-only version connects directly with restaurant operators via text messages, eliminating the need for an application. Operators can chat directly with their restaurant to get insights about their costs and performance across their entire business.


    You can now easily integrate Butter on Toast Web.

    Integration Setup & Onboarding: Butter

    To complete the Integration, please follow the steps listed below:

    1. To enable Butter with Toast, log into Toast Web and navigate to Integrations > Integrations management > Browse & purchase integrations.
    2. Enter "Butter " in the Search field and select Add Now
      1. If you have multiple locations, please select the restaurants you would like to connect to Butter. Finally, select Apply.
      2. Note: Your restaurant must have access to Toast Partner Integrations to add this integration. To learn more, see Set Up Toast Partner Integrations.
    3. Review the data scope visibility terms and conditions and select Confirm to accept. See the Data Scope Visibility article for more information.
    4. After adding the integration in Toast Web, Butter will be notified about the connection.
      1. Toast also recommends you reach out to the vendor/partner after adding a tile to confirm the receipt of your integration request.

     

    Onboarding Process

    After adding Butter to Toast Partner Integrations, you will promptly receive an email to initiate the onboarding process. Simply follow the link or click the button provided in the email to visit the Butter website. Verify the prefilled information and proceed by selecting continue. A verification code will be sent via text message, which you should enter on the website.
     

    • Butter monitors activations to ensure that the onboarding process is completed successfully.Butter will reach out within 24 hours if the onboarding remains incomplete.
