Troubleshoot Denied Online Order Emails

Question

  • How do I troubleshoot online orders that have yet to be approved?
  • When a guest places an online order and it is not approved within five minutes, they automatically receive an email asking them to call our restaurant. How do I turn that email notification off?
  • Guests are receiving notification emails when their online orders are not approved within five minutes. Is there a way to disable that email notification?

Answer

  1. Log in to Toast Web and navigate to Takeout & delivery Availability > Online ordering.
  2. Scroll down to the Approval Rules section. 
  3. Next to Approve emails, select Do not email the guest
  4. Save and Publish your changes.
