If the Guest Room Search screen isn't showing on your POS when you select the Room Charge payment option, it may be an indication that your room charge payment option is not configured correctly. This can also affect room charge functionality on your PMS provider's side. Please contact Customer Care for assistance.
The search values that can be used to locate a guest account are determined by the PMS partner, not by Toast. If you don't see a search field that you want to use to look up your guest's room number, contact your PMS provider to determine if it is possible to use another search value than the current options provided.
Transaction codes used by hotel partners (such as those integrated with Omniboost) must be configured within the partner’s system, not in Toast. Contact your PMS integration partner for assistance in setting up or modifying transaction codes.
The way charges (e.g., check total and gratuity) appear on your guest’s final bill is controlled by the PMS partner's system. If you want the check and gratuity to be displayed as a combined charge, reach out to your hotel partner directly to determine if that configuration is supported.
