Adjust Header/Footer Spacing on Kitchen Tickets

Question

How do I add or remove space to the header and footer of kitchen tickets?

Answer

  1. In Toast Web, navigate to Kitchen > Printers, tickets, & KDS devices > Kitchen.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the Printed Tickets section.
  3. Adjust the Header Spacing and/or Footer Spacing settings as desired. 
    1. These two options are measured on a scale of 0 (least) to 20 (greatest). The default header spacing is 5, and the default footer spacing is 0. Setting either the header or footer spacing to 0 means that there will be no extra blank space on that part of the ticket.
  4. Save and publish your changes.
