Answer

You must have the 6.6 Restaurant Operations Setup permission in order to complete the steps described below. Learn more about user access permissions here: Permissions Reference Guide.

 

To remove the menu item search bar from your POS order screen, log in to Toast Web and navigate to Front of house > Order screen setup > then toggle the Search bar for POS menu setting to the OFF position. Remember to save and publish your changes.

 

Note: This setting is not available for restaurants using Mode Retail.
