Configure Order Changes and Voids to Auto Print to Kitchen

How do I configure order changes or voids to automatically print in the kitchen?

1. In Toast Web, navigate to Kitchen > Printers, tickets, & KDS devices > Kitchen.
2. Under the Printed Tickets section, review and adjust the Print Ticket Changes setting as needed:
   • Print changes and voids (default)
   • Print changes only
   • Print voids only
   • Don't print changes and voids (choose this if your kitchen staff doesn't require ticket updates)
   This feature doesn't have any impact on the way tickets are viewed on a KDS screen.
3. Save and publish your changes.

• If you are using this setting with a Kitchen Display System (KDS) device, the void or change will appear on the screen and will not be printable from the KDS, even if you have Print On Demand set up on the device.
• If you need a printout of the void or change, you can accomplish this by reprinting the customer receipt.
• For orders that are canceled by DoorDash and Uber Eats, you must configure your system to auto-print changes to the kitchen in order to receive voided kitchen tickets.
