How do tips and invoicing work for Toast Delivery Services®?
This article applies only to restaurants using Toast Delivery Services®. If your restaurant doesn't offer delivery through Toast—including if you don't have a delivery menu set up—this billing behavior doesn't apply to your account.
Toast will now withhold Toast Delivery Services® fees from your daily credit card payouts for all participants, including delivery fees and driver tips. Toast will automatically process any applicable refunds as a credit to your account. See more in the Toast Delivery Services® Automated Billing Overview article. Note: Toast Delivery Services® tips cannot be disabled.
