How do we process a guest’s check payment?

A guest wants to pay for their transaction with a written check. How do we process this with Toast?

If a guest would like to pay for their transaction with a check, you’ll have to make sure you have the appropriate option created within Other payments.

If you need to create this new option to have in your POS payment workflow, check out Set Up Other Payment Options. You can then follow the workflow outlined in that article to process this payment.

Make sure you follow through on depositing this check into your bank account as well.
