Stop Receipts From Printing Automatically for Online Orders

1. In Toast Web, navigate to Takeout & delivery > Ordering setup > Takeout/delivery, and scroll down to the Receipt Printing section.
2. To stop receipts from printing, make sure that both Merchant Copy and Customer Copy are deselected in the Payment Receipts setting.
3. Save and publish your changes.

If receipts still print after you save these changes, check the following:

• On each POS device that prints online orders, open Setup > Device Setup and confirm Always Print Receipt is turned off. This device setting prints a receipt even when the Toast Web setting above is turned off.
• Make sure only one device is set as the auto-fire device for online orders. See Check and Manage Auto-Fire Devices.
• These settings control receipts only. Kitchen tickets for online orders still print to your kitchen printers.
