Force Update the Time on a Terminal

Note: If your device is on Android 12 or above, you will need to go into Toast Guardian to update the timezone. See this article Setup Device Time Zone Using Toast Guardian reference.

Before starting the following steps, make sure that the Meraki and/or your Toast Network is online before trying to update the date and/or time.

1. Select the setting icon on the home screen of the terminal.
   
   
   
   
2. Navigate to System.
   
   
   
   
3. Select Date & time.
   
   
4. Select NTP Servers.
   
   
   
   
5. Select REFRESH in the top right corner of the screen.
6. Your device should automatically update with the time and date of the network it is connected to.
