Question

Where can I find my merchant ID in Toast? 

Answer

If you're a new Toast customer and need access to your merchant ID before your go-live date or before your statement data is available in Toast, please reach out to Customer Care for assistance.
 

Your merchant ID will be listed at the top of your monthly credit card processing statement from Toast. 

  1. In Toast Web, navigate to Reports > Payments > Processing statements.
    • Note:  Users will need access to 4.1 Sales Reports and 3.18 Cash Drawers (Full) in order to view this report. For more details about each permission, including who it should be assigned to, please see Permissions Reference Guide.
  2. Set your date range to This Month or Last Month depending on your last credit card processing statement.
  3. Then, select Update to run the report. 
  4. Choose the download icon (down arrow) to the left of your statement.

 

Your Merchant ID, Merchant Name, and Merchant Address will be listed at the top-right corner of your exported report.

Notes:

  • American Express OptBlue customers will not have a merchant ID.
  • If you're looking up your merchant ID to order new gift cards through eCard Systems and you see multiple merchant IDs listed, you can copy and paste the first ID number for your gift card order form.
