What is the Job Code field on the Jobs page in Toast Web used for?

This optional field helps you connect this job role with your other business software, like a payroll or accounting system. The code you enter here appears as a column in the job export report. To receive this report, navigate to Employees > Employee management > Jobs and select the download icon towards the upper-right corner of the page.

You can use any combination of letters or numbers, and there is no character limit.
