Job Code Field in Toast Web

What is the Job Code field on the Jobs page in Toast Web used for?

Job code is an optional field that helps you connect this job role with your other business software, like a payroll or accounting system.

To add or edit your job codes:

1. In Toast Web, navigate to Employees > Jobs.
2. Select the job you would like to edit. 
3. Add a job code in the Job code field. You can use any combination of letters or numbers, and there is no character limit.
4. Select Save.

The code you enter here appears as a column in the job export report. To receive this report, navigate to Employees > Employee management > Jobs and select the download icon towards the upper-right corner of the page.
