Is manager approval needed for large tips?

Answer

No, manager approval is not needed for large tips, only for tip adjustments.

  1. Tip adjustments can be made by navigating to Front of house > Order screen setup > UI Options. 
  2. Scroll to Tipping > Require approval for significant adjustments to tips.  Here, you can select if you would like to set an approval or not. 
  3. Enter the minimum amount or the minimum % of balance due.
  4. Save and publish your changes.
