Set Up a Day and Time Bonus for Toast Loyalty

Incentivize guests to place orders on specific days of the week and/or specific times of day by offering bonus points on purchases made.

Day & time bonus allows you to offer additional bonus points for Toast Loyalty members during a specific day and time period. This allows you to promote specific periods and encourage guests to return to the restaurant for future purchases. 

Set Up a Day and Time Bonus for Toast Loyalty

  1. Log in to Toast Web and navigate to Marketing > Loyalty > Settings. 
  2. Under Bonus points and perks, navigate to Day & time bonus. 
  3. Switch the toggle to On.

  4. Under Bonus amount, use the drop-down to select Double or Triple points. This means that guests will earn 2x or 3x the amount of points they usually would when making a purchase.

  5. Select the day(s) of the week you would like this bonus promotional period to apply to. You must select at least one day.

  6. Select the Limit bonus time check box to select the specific periods you want the bonus to apply to. This is optional, but if you select a start time, you must also select an end time. 
    1. Note: Any items added to the check outside of the specified times will not have the bonus loyalty applied.

  7. Select Save.
  8. Select Save and Publish Now to finalize your changes.
