Sign In/Redeem Rewards With a Guest-Facing Display (Loyalty API)

Question

  • We're running our own Loyalty program. Is there a way for our guests to sign in and redeem rewards using a guest-facing display (GFD)?
  • We're offering our own Loyalty program for our guests. How can our guests log in and redeem rewards points with a guest-facing display?
  • We have a non-Toast managed Loyalty program. How can our guests access their reward accounts with a guest-facing display?

Answer

This feature is currently in limited release with select customers who are using the Loyalty API to run their own Loyalty Program.

 

With this new feature, guests can now sign in and redeem their rewards with a guest-facing display.  

  1. Log in to your Loyalty account using your phone number or email address.
  2. Enter your phone number or email address, then select “Check-in”.
  3. If a reward is available, you will be prompted to select a reward from the list.
  4. Select the reward that you wish to apply to your order and choose “Redeem rewards”.
  5. Next, you’ll be forwarded to the order summary screen where you’ll find the order total amount and details.
  6. To complete the payment, tap, insert, or swipe your card.
  7. In the tip and signature screen, select your desired tip amount and input your signature. Then, select Continue.
  8. In the receipt screen, select how you’d like to receive your receipt.
  9. That’s it! You’re all set!
