Toast Tables: How can I add Toast Tables to my website?

To integrate reservations into your website, you have two options. You can copy a URL to use as a link, button, or navigation item that redirects guests to a hosted Toast page — or you can embed a booking widget directly on your page, so guests can complete a reservation in a modal without ever leaving your site.  This enables your guests to join your reservations or waitlist online from any location you designate for the link. Additionally, we will display the names of guests who booked online in the host app.

Steps to Add the Reservation Link:

1. Navigate to Toast Web.
2. Select Waitlist & Reservations.
3. Click on the Settings tab, then go to Reservations and select Online access.
4. Under Online controls, click on Copy online reservation link and paste it onto your website.

Steps to Add the Embeddable Reservation Widget:

If your website is built on a third-party platform (such as Squarespace, Wix, or WordPress), you can embed a native booking widget instead of linking out to a hosted page. The widget displays a "Reserve now" button on your site; when a guest selects it, a full-page booking modal opens on top of your page so the guest can complete their reservation without leaving your site.

1. Navigate to Toast Web > Waitlist & Reservations > Settings > Reservations.
2. Under Website widget, select the copy icon to embed the widget snippet.
3. Paste the code into your website's HTML, in the location where you want the "Reserve now" button to appear.

Your snippet is personalized with your restaurant's unique identifier, so no additional setup is required after pasting it into your site.

Steps to Add the Waitlist Link:

1. Navigate to Toast Web.
2. Select Waitlist & Reservations.
3. Click on the Settings tab, then go to Waitlist and select Online access.
4. Under Online controls, click on Copy online waitlist link and paste it onto your website.

If you use Toast Websites, you can add a reservation module directly to your website.  Steps to Add the Reservation Module with Toast Websites:

1. Navigate to Toast Web.
2. Select Websites.
3. Select Editor and Branding > Your Site > Edit Site.
4. Within the Add to Page section, scroll down and select Reservations.
5. Drag and drop the module onto your website in the desired location.
