If your Toast device is offline due to a network connectivity issue, SmartQuote defaults to the last enabled quote time strategy. For example, if you enabled the Manual quote time strategy for 15 minutes for your breakfast hours, but switched to SmartQuote at lunch time, and then experienced a network outage, your quote time would default back to the Manual quote time of 15 minutes.
During an outage, banners and colored labels appear notifying you that SmartQuote is temporarily unavailable in the Quote time strategy section and on the Online Ordering dashboard.
