If your Kitchen Display System (KDS) isn't making noise, here's what to check:

 

  • Do Not Disturb Mode: Make sure Do Not Disturb is turned off on your Android tablet.
    • On a Toast Flex, swipe down from the upper left corner to quickly check this setting.
  • Device Sound Settings: Confirm that the sound is turned on in the tablet's main Settings.
  • New Ticket Sound: Check the New Ticket Sound setting within Device Setup to ensure it's enabled.
