If you have multiple locations and only allow guests to use their gift card at the location where they were purchased, it is possible this is a card sold by another location.

To troubleshoot the Gift Card Cannot Be Found error:

1. Verify the gift card number is correct, and was entered into your POS correctly.
   1. Check for common mistakes such as extra spaces, transposed digits, or missing characters.
2. Sometimes, there is an issue with the swipe strip on your card. Try keying in the gift card number manually.
3. If this does not work, confirm the gift card was issued by this restaurant. You can do this by navigating to Toast Web > Gift Card Balances Report and searching for the number.
