Manually Capture Payments/Batch Credit Cards

How do I manually batch credit cards or capture payments?

1. On your Toast POS, navigate to the main menu device setup.
2. Navigate to Manager Activities > Close Out Day.
3. Select End Day to capture payments.

• • Note: Only users with manager permissions can perform this activity.

As a best practice, you should never capture payments more than once every 24 hours. This is not compatible with Toast reporting.
 

If you're unable to capture payments successfully using this method, try these troubleshooting steps:

• Attempt the process on a different device.
• Sign out of the Toast app, and then have another manager log in and attempt the process.
