Applies to: Toast Wholesale, Toast Wholesale Pro
Permissions needed:
What you'll accomplish: Your price book is published and assigned to the companies and locations that should use it.
Price books set company-specific pricing. To start, navigate to Toast Web > Wholesale > Price Books and select Create Price Book. Setup has three parts.
Expected outcome: The price book is active and ready to assign to customers.
Each price book has three tabs: Pricing Formulas, Item Pricing, and Customers. Use Item Pricing to view or change prices for individual items.
Expected outcome: The assigned companies and locations see this price book's prices when they order.
From a price book, you can also rename the price book, export it as a PDF or CSV file, archive it, move all its customers to another price book, and manage pricing updates.
Price book pricing will never automatically update, even when costs or retail prices change. Based on the pricing formula chosen, categories and items will be marked as NEED REFRESH. To update:
From the Pricing Formulas tab
From the Item Pricing tab
