Toast Payroll: FEIN Change of Address or Phone Number

• How can I change the business address or phone number for my FEIN?
• Do I need to fill out an IRS Form 8822-B if I change the address of my FEIN?

Customers can now update their business addresses and phone numbers for their FEIN(s) right in Toast Payroll. To update your FEIN's address or phone number:

1. Open Toast Payroll and navigate to Settings > Payroll > Tax Accounts.
2. If you have more than one FEIN, use the drop-down menu to locate the correct FEIN.
3. Select View details.
4. On the next page, select Edit.
5. Use the fields in the Business address section to make your changes. Select Save when you're ready.
6. Important note: The IRS requires a copy of to identify any address changes. Toast does not update this information with the IRS, so it is your responsibility to fill out Form 8822-B and send it to them when appropriate.
