Unable to Download the Toast App Using the APK Download Link

Why can't my Elo V2 device download the Toast app using the APK download link?

Your Elo V2 device may be unable to download the Toast POS app using the APK download link if you use the WebView downloader instead of the ES Downloader.

To download using the APK link, please follow these steps:

1. In the WebView browser on your Elo V2 device, navigate to http://toasttab.com/link/apk.
2. When you are prompted to choose a download method, select ES Downloader. 
   • If the ES Downloader option is unavailable, follow the steps indicated in Section A. 
3. The download begins and the Toast POS app is downloaded and installed.

Section A: If you selected to always use the WebView browser for download, perform the following steps to include the ES Download as an option for browser downloads:

1. Navigate to Android Settings > Apps > WebView Shell.
2. Select Disable. 
3. Then, select Enable (the same button). 
4. Select Storage.
5. On the Storage screen, select Clear Data.
6. Then, select Clear Cache.
7. Go back to WebView Shell.
8. Select Open by default.
9. Select Clear Defaults. 
10. Exit settings and open the APK download link in the browser. Select ES Downloader as the download method. 

The download begins and the Toast POS app is downloaded and installed.
