  • What steps should I take to remove two menu items?
  • How do I remove two items from my menu that are included in multiple menus?

Answer

To archive duplicate menu items, follow these steps:

  1. In Toast Web, navigate to Menus > Bulk management > Items database.
  2. Using the tabs at the top of the page and the search bar, locate the items, modifier, and modifier groups that you wish to archive.
  3. Put a checkmark next to the items or modifiers that you wish to archive.
    • You can select View Usage to see where these menu elements are used before you make and changes.
  4. Select Archive to archive all selected items/modifiers.
  5. In the pop-up window, select the Confirm Archive button.

Note: If you archive a menu group or item that has a modifier group attached to it, the modifier group will not also be archived. You can still add that modifier group to another item or menu group in your menu editor, or you can archive the modifier group as well if needed.
