Configure Required Modifiers

If a menu item requires modifiers, staff and/or guests must make a selection, and they won't be able to send this item to the kitchen without a modifier selection. To configure the required modifiers for your selected menu items, follow these steps. 

1. Log in to Toast Web and navigate to Menus > Menu management > Menu manager.
2. Navigate to the modifier group for your selected menu item and scroll to Modifier group settings.
3. For the Belecting a modifier from this group is: setting, select Required.
4. Save and publish changes.
