If you use a Toast device on a Wi-Fi network, your device may attempt to connect to other Wi-Fi networks the device was connected to in the past. These networks, which were not created by Toast, can cause your device to attempt to reconnect to them if your device is further away from your Toast wireless access point. For example, if you're serving guests inside with a handheld Toast Go® device and leave to attend to an outdoor dining space, your device may attempt to connect to a stronger signal from a building next door in order to remain online.
To ensure payments are not paused on your device, we recommend "forgetting" any non-Toast networks your devices have connected to in the past in order to ensure your device remains connected to Toast's enhanced security network. Without taking action, your devices may run the risk of interrupting during service. The correct Wi-Fi network for your Toast devices will end in "_Toast". These steps will show you how to ensure you are able to join this Wi-Fi network.
We also recommend following these steps to forget non-Toast networks if your device is trying to connect to your "_Toast" Wi-Fi network but is failing to access it.

On the handheld, navigate to Settings & Tools > Device Settings > System > Reset Options> Reset Mobile Network Settings > Reset Settings and then Reset Settings again.
