Learn how Sling billing works when your account is connected to Toast, including plan changes, reconnecting, and overlapping charges.
You cannot switch your Sling account to Sling's own billing plans while it is connected to Toast. When you create a Sling account through Toast, your Sling subscription is provided and billed by Toast, and your billing page shows the Toast scheduling plans rather than Sling's standalone plans.
Note: To compare what each Toast scheduling plan includes, see Sling by Toast: Compare Sling Lite and Sling Pro.

Your Sling account can move to Sling's own billing plans if you stop using Toast. This applies in two situations: you end your Toast account but want to keep your Sling account, or you confirm that you do not intend to connect Sling to Toast again. In both cases your Sling account becomes a standalone account with no Toast connection. Contact Toast Customer Care to make this change.
You can connect Sling to Toast again later, and your billing moves back to Toast when you do. Three things need to happen, in this order:
Follow the steps below to purchase or upgrade to Scheduling Pro in your Toast Web account.
Note: If Add to cart is grayed out, Scheduling Pro is already added for that location.
You can be charged by both Sling and Toast when you sign up for a Sling subscription first and connect to Toast later in the same billing period. Connecting the accounts automatically cancels your standalone Sling subscription, but you may have already paid Sling for the current month before Toast billed you for Scheduling Pro. The result is one month of overlap.

You request a refund for an overlapping Sling charge by contacting Toast Customer Care. Have the date you connected your Sling and Toast accounts ready, along with the last four digits of the card that was charged for your Sling subscription. Refunds are returned to the card that was originally charged.
