I got the error message "You cannot open this payroll as it does not have a bank account tied to it. Please contact support to add the appropriate bank account." How do I fix this?
The "You cannot open this payroll as it does not have a bank account tied to it. Please contact support to add the appropriate bank account." message occurs when Toast Payroll cannot locate a bank account used to fund payroll for this pay group.
The best course of action is to contact Toast Payroll Customer Care with this Bank Account Update form filled out and a voided check to confirm routing and account numbers. Select the blue chat dot in the lower-right corner of any Toast Payroll page and submit this information to us. It can take up to three business days for your account to be updated.
