Get Started With the UrbanPiper Integration

Learn how to set up the UrbanPiper integration with Toast to sync menus and receive delivery platform orders on your POS.

UrbanPiper Integration Overview

UrbanPiper is a software platform that connects food delivery platforms, branded mobile apps, and websites to your point of sale (POS).

 

With the UrbanPiper integration, you can:

  • Manage your online menu for multiple delivery platforms from your POS.
  • Receive your online orders at your POS.
  • Track order and rider status updates from delivery platforms.
  • Update item and modifier availability.

Before You Begin

Applies to: Toast Web

 

Permissions needed:

  • 8.4 Manage integrations

 

What you'll accomplish: Add the UrbanPiper integration to your restaurant in Toast Web and complete onboarding with UrbanPiper.

 

Your restaurant must have access to Toast Partner Integrations, which is included with the Restaurant Management suites. To learn more, see Set Up Toast Partner Integrations.

Step 1: Open the Integration Marketplace

In Toast Web, navigate to Integrations > Integration management > Browse & purchase integrations.

Step 2: Add the UrbanPiper Integration

  1. Enter UrbanPiper in the Search field.
  2. Select Add Now on the UrbanPiper tile.
  3. Select the restaurant location or locations you want to connect to your UrbanPiper account, then select Apply.

 

Note: If you don't see the UrbanPiper tile, contact Toast Customer Care.

Step 3: Review and Confirm Data Sharing

  1. Review the data scope visibility terms and conditions. For more information, see Toast Partner Integrations Data Scope Visibility Overview.
  2. Select Confirm to accept.

 

Expected outcome: The UrbanPiper integration is added to the locations you selected.

Step 4: Complete Onboarding With UrbanPiper

UrbanPiper's team follows up after you add the integration. Onboarding typically takes two to three weeks, and you're responsible for keeping UrbanPiper updated on your progress. If you already use UrbanPiper, onboarding typically takes one to two weeks.

 

Toast adds an Other Payment Option for UrbanPiper to your restaurant in Toast Web. For more information on payment options, see Set Up Other Payment Options.
