Toast Pay is included in the Toast core POS subscription and can be turned on and set up right from your Toast account.
As of December 2023, all new Toast customers will have access to Toast Pay by default. For restaurants not using Toast Pay yet, you can update to Toast Pay for free here or select the image below:
To get to Toast Pay, navigate to Toast Web, Payments > Payment Methods > Toast Pay.

Training overview:
Toast Pay works like mobile payments today and is included with the POS. Transactions are charged at the Card Not Present rate, but no monthly fee exists.
Menu item reviews (including Toast Web reporting), even check to split by guests, and a new branded experience with the restaurant logo. If you haven’t yet updated Toast Pay, you can update to Toast Pay for free on .

Yes, Toast Pay is available on iOS and Android. Note: Don't Wait to Pay and Toast Cash are only available on iOS.
Servers can receive POS notifications when guests have successfully paid via Toast Pay or failed to pay and may need help. See more details in the section of this article. In addition, on the Table Service screen, the guest's table changes from yellow to white once the guest's payment has been completed through Toast Pay.
Guests can pay with all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Guests can also use Toast-specific rewards, including loyalty points, promo codes, and Toast cash.
