Question

Is Online Ordering turned on for my restaurant?

Answer

Not sure if your restaurant has Toast Online Ordering turned on? A quick and efficient way to confirm if Toast Online Ordering has been enabled in your restaurant and you are accepting orders is to visit the Online Ordering settings page. 
 

  1. Log in to Toast Web and navigate to Takeout & delivery > Availability > Online Ordering.
  2. Look under Toggle Online Ordering
    • If Accept online orders is selected, Toast Online Ordering is enabled in your restaurant and orders are currently being accepted. 
    • If Snooze online orders temporarily is selected, Toast Online Ordering is enabled in your restaurant, but orders are not currently being accepted for a specified amount of time.
    • If Don't accept online orders is selected, Toast Online Ordering is enabled in your restaurant, but no orders are being accepted now. 
  3. If you cannot see the Toggle Online Ordering section and Menu Page Visibility displays instead, your restaurant currently does not have Toast Online Ordering as an available feature. Instead, you can use your Toast Menu web page to advertise your menu offerings for free. 
If you've intentionally turned online ordering off but are still receiving orders, be sure to Publish all changes.

To figure out when your restaurant first started using Toast Online Ordering, you can navigate to the Orders report, filter the report by Source to only show online orders, and review past reports to see when the first order was processed. Learn more: Sales Reports Overview.
