Community is a new feature in the Toast Local app (formerly known as the Toast Takeout app), which allows users to discover and explore restaurants by connecting and sharing dining experiences. Users can follow each other, discover where friends are dining out, see what they ordered, and view personalized ratings and reviews.
Note: With Toast Local Community in beta, you must receive an invite from an existing user.
The Toast Local Community is a consumer-facing feature enabling users to share restaurant recommendations with friends. There are no changes to existing features available to users in the Toast Local app. For more details on Community in the Toast Local app, please see Toast Local FAQ.
Users in select markets will be notified and prompted in the Toast Local app to join Community. Otherwise, users must receive an invite from an existing Community user.
