The quickest and most secure way to retrieve your Globally Unique Identifier (GUID) is through our automated chat assistant. Before starting, make sure you are logged into your Toast account via Toast Web or the Toast Now app. Unauthenticated chats cannot be verified, and the assistant will not share your GUID for security reasons.
Note: GUIDs are not currently accessible through Toast IQ.
Once you open a chat—available on Toast Web, the Toast Now app, or through the Toast Support Center—you can simply ask for your identifier using natural language, such as "What is my restaurant's GUID?" You do not need exact phrasing or technical commands. Additionally, if you manage multiple locations, you can request them all at once in the same conversation (for example, "Can you share the GUIDs for Location A, Location B, and Location C?") rather than initiating separate chats.
