My tickets are printing with the wrong time. How do I fix this?

Question

I reset all our terminals and adjusted the time zone. Now, all our tickets are printing with the wrong time. How do I fix this?

Answer

Follow these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Unplug the Ethernet cable from the terminal in which the printer is connected to.
  2. Access the device Settings to turn the Wi-Fi on.
  3. Then, connect the terminal to a local Wi-Fi network or hotspot.
  4. Reboot the terminal and turn the Wi-Fi off to plug the Ethernet cable back on.

 

Once you've completed the above steps, all printed tickets should now display the correct time based on your terminal time zone setting.

 

Note: If you notice the times for your orders and time entries are incorrect (off by a set number of hours), you'll need to contact Customer Care to adjust your restaurant's time zone settings to match the correct time zone for your location.
