Looking to add menu items without having to access Toast Web (the back-end)? Using Quick Edit Mode, you can add, add existing, order, rename, and delete various parts of your menu. Since Toast is a cloud-based system, any changes made on one device will appear on all other devices in the restaurant as well as in Toast Web.
Quick Edit mode is not well suited to restaurants that use Toast Multilocation Management (MLM) because, as a general rule, you must be an owner of a menu entity in order to edit it.

Using Quick Edit mode on the POS.
To enter Quick Edit mode, tap and hold any menu button (e.g. Appetizers). You'll be asked if you want to enter Quick Edit Mode. Select Enter Quick Edit.
