This guide explains how to perform the firmware update required to fix the “REF Code 105-1” or "REF Code 105-2" errors.
REF Code 105-1 and 105-2 Errors
If you’re seeing a REF Code 105-1 (REF 1051) error message on your Toast device, it means that your device requires a firmware update.
If your Toast device has stopped processing payments and you’re seeing a REF Code 105-2 (REF 1052) error message on your screen, it means that your device requires a firmware update.
