Toast Payroll: Retroactive Pay Change Not Reflected in Toast Web

Why is an employee's pay rate not reflected in Toast Web reports after it was changed in Toast Payroll?

When you process a salary change in Toast Payroll with a past effective date, you have the option to update previous timesheets within Toast Payroll itself. However, please note that this will not retroactively change the pay rates for those past hours in Toast Web reporting.

The new pay rate will apply to Toast Web moving forward, but labor reports for previously worked hours in Toast Web will still show the rate that was active when your staff clocked in.
