Question

Why can't guests join a group order when using Toast Mobile Order & Pay®?

Answer

If a guest can't join a group order using the QR code, the 20-minute join window has likely expired.

  • After 20 minutes, the scan and join feature is locked.
  • New guests can no longer join by scanning the QR code.

 

If the QR code no longer works:

  • Ask someone already in the group order to share the Group Order direct link via SMS.
  • The guest can use that link to join the order.
