How do I update a closed check's revenue center?

Answer

You must have the 3.9 Unlinked Refunds permission in order to update a check's revenue center. Learn more here, Permissions Reference Guide.

 

To update a closed check's revenue center, follow these steps:

 

  1. Log in to Toast Web and navigate to Payments > Transactions & refunds > Find checks & issue refund
  2. Locate the check by using one of the available search options:
    • Find by Check Number/Date
    • Find by ID
    • Find by Customer Info
    • Find by Credit Card
    • Advanced Search
  3. To open the Order Details pop-up window, select the check that you wish to edit.
  4. Next, select the pencil icon next to Revenue Center
  5. Using the drop-down menu, select a revenue center.
  6. Save and publish your changes.
