Can an employee report to a manager in another FEIN in Toast Payroll?

Yes, an employee can report to a manager who belongs to a different federal employer identification number (FEIN). The Reports To functionality overrides the security role's expanded access, so even if a manager's security role is unable to see the positions of other FEINs, they will be able to see their direct report with that position. The Reports To feature lives on an employee's profile under Employment > Position > Edit. Don't forget to set a Reason if you'd like to make changes to this page.
