Toast Payroll: Change an Employee's Pay Group

An employee's pay group is based on their position. You cannot simply change the pay group the employee is assigned to, but rather you must update their position to one that is in the desired pay group.

• The pay group that displays on the employee's profile is dynamic based on the pay group from the Position Details page.
• If a new pay group is added, new positions will be necessary to begin linking the employee's profile to it.
