Form 8655 is used by Toast Payroll to make payments and file quarterly taxes on your behalf. While filling this form out on Toast Payroll, you may encounter an error while submitting it. In order to fix this error code, enter a contact person name in box 6 and/or box 12.
The entire error message reads "The only characters allowed are alpha, ampersand (&), hyphen (-), less-than sign (<), and space."
Certain parts of this form do not allow any characters other than letters, spaces, and the following three symbols: % - <. Remove any other characters or symbols from the applicable fields and attempt to resubmit.
At the bottom of the form where you enter a signature (the Authorization Agreement section), a title is required. In this sense, a title is the position or role of the person signing the form on behalf of the company. Add your title to continue.
Avoid this error by entering a date in the Authorization Agreement field before submitting this form.
Add a digital signature to the digital form. Resubmit to fix this error.
The entire error code states "The digital signature you provided cannot be accepted. Please try signing your name again."
For one reason or another, your signature cannot be processed. Re-sign the form to continue.
